The role

We are looking for exceptional and ambitious developers who enjoy working both on frontend and backend development. This role is ideal for somebody who is passionate about building great online experiences for consumer brands. We are looking for a developer who loves being part of a team but is also self-motivated and likes the idea of working remotely.

As a full-stack developer in the Much Better Adventures tech team, you will be working on developing and improving features built primarily in Python/Django, JavaScript/React, and PostgreSQL. You will be keen to learn and leverage new technologies best suited to the task at hand. Our stack is broad and wide ranging: https://stackshare.io/much-better-adventures/much-better-adventures

Your skills and experiences;

  • High level of experience in Django or another Python based framework.
  • Experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Python.
  • Experience using ReactJS / Redux or similar frontend frameworks.
  • Experience using jQuery, PostgreSQL, Linux, Elasticsearch, and Amazon Web Services a plus
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium
  • Familiarity with Git / Github
  • Any additional skills you can bring to the table are always welcome.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently – accountable for your own actions and able to act with both urgency and integrity
