Gridium: Technical lead

Buildings are responsible for 40% of the world’s energy footprint, and a typical building contains thousands of pieces of equipment, sensors, and interconnections. Gridium makes software that helps people run their buildings better, at lower cost and with less energy.

We are looking for someone to guide the engineering team creating the world’s best building operations tools. Someone who is passionate about developing industry-leading software using the most current tools and technologies. This is a role for a creative, collaborative technical leader excited to work in a small startup environment to help realize us realize our vision of an energy-efficient world.

About Gridium

Gridium is a growing, venture-backed SaaS software provider for buildings. Our products help commercial property owners manage all aspects of their buildings, from energy to work orders. We serve buildings of every shape and size, deploying a range of statistical and machine learning techniques to help develop energy efficiency strategies, streamline operations, and delight tenants.

About the job

This is a job for someone who loves to build beautiful things. We use technologies like python, ember.js, java, R, and Amazon Web Services to drive our products. We need help bringing all of the pieces, including design, development, technical operations, and testing, into one cohesive package.

This job will also be hands-on across the entire stack. You will be asked to lead discussions and make important decisions that affect all Gridium products. This is a senior role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of complex products serving thousands of users.
